Aaron Siwiec

Aaron brings with him nearly 17 years of experience in wealth management, all with Scotia. After 10 years of running a successful practice in Edmonton’s ScotiaWealth office, he moved into branch management as a Co-Branch Manager of the complex and high performing Calgary branch. In 2017, Aaron moved his family to Victoria assuming responsibility for ScotiaWealth’s Vancouver Island wealth management operation.

Having worked in large branches with high growth profiles and many of the firm’s Chairman and Presidents council advisor teams, he is well suited to support all types of practices. As a non-producing Branch Manager, Aaron passionately dedicates all of his time and resources to supporting advisor teams and their client’s experience.

Barbara Patterson

Barbara has spent 18 years in the financial services industry and has extensive experience in recruitment, training and development, employee relations and operations. She holds her Investment Representative license with IIROC as well as her Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation under CPHRBC.

Barbara stays connected to professional and local communities by sitting on the Camosun College HR Curriculum Committee as well as being a member of the Leadership Victoria and Royal Roads University Alumni. Currently she volunteers her time to various charities to support many annual and one-off campaigns and functions including the BCSPCA and The Alzheimer’s Society. Barbara is the past chair of the Vancouver Island Advisory Council for the BC Human Resources Management Association as well as past member of the United Way Priority Grant Committee and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) cabinet member.
